An array of world class performers will appear at this year’s Cambridge Music Festival next month.
The Berlin Philharmonic Quintet, Philip Glass in perhaps is his first tour to the UK performing a new project and the Borodin Quartet will play some of the best loved pieces of classical music.
Quirkier performances include famous percussionist and YouTube sensation Manu Delago, who plays the hang and will perform his thrillingly rhythmical ‘Music for two acoustic tooth brushes’ with the Aurora Orchestra.
The festival also does ground-breaking outreach work - a MusicLab truck will visit different locations in Cambridge giving children the chance to play an instrument, mix orchestral sounds and compose on an iPad.
It is at various venues from November 12 to 22. Visit www.cammusic.co.uk
