Sue Holderness, of Only Fools and Horses, and Doctors’ Christopher Timothy are returning to the Cambridge Arts Theatre with Mrs Warren’s Profession, a period drama by George Bernard Shaw.

It follows of Vivie Warren, a Cambridge graduate who learns her education and luxurious lifestyle have been financed by her mother’s work in the oldest profession.

With themes of prostitution and women’s rights, it was so controversial in England it was banned by the Lord Chamberlain after being written in 1894.
