Stuart Harling spent 20 years as a principal opera singer with leading companies in Britain and Europe.
But he turned to painting 12 years ago and has been exhibiting in East Anglia and London since.
The Sudbury based artist has lived in Suffolk for more than 30 years and will be displaying some 32 of his oil on canvas works at The Edmund Gallery at St Edmundsbury Cathedral , Bury St Edmunds, between Saturday March 15 and Thursday March 20.
His work ranges from vibrant abstracts to softer depictions, many of the natural world, which show the cumulative effects of pattern, repetition and rhythm.
Stuart will be at the gallery during the exhibition which opens daily from 10am to 4,30pm.
