REVIEW: Remembering The Movies Starring Aljaž & Janette

It was lights, camera ... dance as two of Strictly's brightest stars brought a touch of Tinseltown to the Cambridge Corn Exchange tonight.

Dramatic, joyous and moving, husband and wife duo Aljaž Škorjanec and Janette Manrara's Remembering The Movies captures the rhythm and energy of a Hollywood classic.

Backed by a talented supporting cast of dancers and powerhouse vocals from Janine Johnson and Damien Edwards, this is a thoroughly uplifting evening of escapism to please all ages.

Routines glide, soar and twirl through cinema's finest from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes to Breakfast at Tiffany's and West Side Story as well as contemporary hits such as The Greatest Showman.

At its heart are two lead performers at the top of their craft with an infectious passion for dance.

  • Remembering The Movies is at The Regent Theatre in Ipswich on Tuesday, May 7.
