Peppa Pig concert is in tune with audience at the Apex, Bury St Edmunds
Peppa Pig: My First Concert, The Apex, Bury St Edmunds, Friday
Hundreds of excited pre-schoolers were introduced to musical instruments during this live orchestra experience.
The concert started with a welcome to Peppa and her family, the musicians and their instruments, and the Nutcracker Suite's Russian dance (highly appropriate, as my three-year-old was named after the tale's heroine).
The 50-minute set list also included classics such as the Peppa Pig theme, the 'Bing Bong' song and The Grand Old Duke of York.
Clara enjoyed learning about the different sounds musical intruments can make alone and together, was highly entertained by Daddy Pig's disastrous conducting and joined in with a vocal rendition of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star at the show's close.
It was a very pleasant and educational hour, even if my little girl did have a meltdown outside when I refused to buy her a helium balloon after the show!
