A celebration of real ale and brewing is taking place in Stowmarket this weekend.

The Festival of Beer and Brewing, taking place for the 19th year at the Museum of East Anglian Life, will see more than 80 real ales and a number of ciders flowing within the 13th century barn.

Festival goers will have the chance to try East Anglia’s best offerings to the burgeoning real ale industry as well as a number of guest ales from around the UK.

Run in association with CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, the beer list is carefully curated by CAMRA members.

There will also be live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night.

The festival is open 6pm-11pm on Thursday, 12pm-11pm on Friday, 11am-11pm on Saturday and 12pm-3pm on Sunday.

Admission to the festival will be £2.50, or is included in standard museum admission during the day. Entry is free for museum and CAMRA members with a valid membership card.
