Former X-Factor contestant and TV personality Ray Quin is offering local musicians the chance to support him at his upcoming concert in Bury St Edmunds.

The singer songwriter and occasional actor will be taking to the stage in the Apex on October 13.

In a bid to support local talent, artists and bands from the area are being given the opportunity to be on the bill.

Since coming second to Leona Lewis in The X Factor in 2006, Ray has gone on to wow audiences with his boundless talent for singing, dancing and acting.

After his debut album shot to number one in 2007 Ray, then 19, starred in West End musicals including Grease and Dirty Dancing.

Upon returning to TV, he won the fourth series of ITV’s Dancing on Ice in 2009.

After a musical break, the UK’s favourite young crooner is now back in the studio, writing, singing and recording for his new album, a move away from his trademark swing and jazz into something more upbeat and modern.

In this latest tour, Dare To Dream, Ray will be performing a mixture of jazz and swing with some new material.

Artists interested in performing in the show should send their information and a link to a live performance to lucy.hilbert@markerandmarker.com.

To book tickets, contact the box office on 01284 758000 or see www.apex.co.uk.
