A testosterone-fuelled reimagining of Gilbert and Sullivan’s classic comedy The Pirates of Penzance is coming to the Cambridge Arts Theatre next week.

This award-winning all-male production, created by Sasha Regan, is visiting the town on its first UK tour.

The much-loved operetta tells the story of a child taken in by a gang of tender hearted pirates searching for treasure and romance.

It was an immediate success for Gilbert and Sullivan and remains their most popular collaboration.
