A musical tribute to commemorate the 70th anniversary of World War Two is coming to the Apex in Bury St Edmunds on Saturday, September 12.

The Piccadilly Dance Orchestra will be performing a programme of nostalgic jazz and popular music from the era, accompanied by singer Anita Harris.

Featuring great songs and swing numbers like In The Mood, American Patrol, Dream A Little Dream of Me and We’ll Meet Again, the show promises to stir up some sentimental memories.

Led my Michael and Alan Bennett-Law, the Piccadilly Dance Orchestra has made numerous appearances on television and in live BBC radio broadcasts.

The orchestra is globally acclaimed for its spiritied recreations of the music of British Dance Bands and has enjoyed residencies at both The Ritz and the Savoy.
