Led by jazz violin superstar Christian Garrick, The Budapest Cafe Orchestra evoke vivid images of Tzigane fiddle maestros, Budapest cafe life and gypsy campfires.

Compromising four fabulous players of violins, guitar, accordion, double bass, saz and balalaika, the orchestra boast some of the country’s most revered international stars.

They will appear at The Apex, in Bury St Edmunds on Wednesday, November 12 at 8pm.

Eddie Hession has accompanied Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras and Chris Rea and is a supreme accordion champion.

Chris Garrick is one of Europe’s most celebrated jazz violinists who has performed with Dame Cleo Laine and Sir John Dankworth, Wynton Marsalis, Nigel Kennedy and Duffy.

Adrian Zolotuhin, one of Russia’s most valuable exports and a master of strummed strings and buff recording engineer.

Kelly Cantlon, veteran bass-man, is a former Vagabond of Jimmy James and the Vagabonds. He is an original founding band member of the BCO and remains its backbone and grounding force.
