The Bury Theatre Workshop is kicking off its 2015-16 season with a play by Nobel Prize in Literature winner Dario Fo.

Accidental Death of an Anarchist will be showing at the Unitarian Meeting House, in Bury, from October 22 to 24.

Fo’s play is based on an 1969 incident in which an anarchist railway worker, arrested in connection with a terrorist bombing in Milan, fell to his death from a fourth floor window at police headquarters during the investigation.

From this tragedy, Fo’s develops a laugh-out-loud, fast paced exploration of power and corruption, with a dash of slapstick comedy.

The show will star Tim Lodge, Adam Thirkettle and Clare Powis.

Performances start at 7.30pm, with a 2.30pm matinée on Saturday. For tickets, contact the box office on 01359 259361 or see burytheatreworkshop.org.uk.
