HENDRIX, Jagger and the Gallaghers beware – Thetford’s young rockers are coming for you.

The Thetford Music Project (TMP) showed how to put on a show last Thursday with the first TMP Rocks! show at Queensway Junior School.

A crowd of almost 100 people were treated to hits including Blur’s Song 2 and Forget You by Cee-Lo Green by the budding singing groups, bands and instrumentalists.

Polly Fenn, director of TMP, said the project was about more than just music.

“It’s a community and a place where young people from the local area can come together, make friends and experience something completely unique,” she said.

The audience were treated to a big ensemble finale of John Lennon’s Imagine.

The group meets at the school once a week from 4 till 6.30pm every Thursday. For more information call 07765 994066.
