The swing band who have backed Robbie Williams and Brian Ferry play at The Apex next week.
The Pasadena Roof Orchestra has been re-creating the glories of swing music since 1969.
Its show features timeless classics that miraculously lifted people’s spirits during the depression era and made household names of singers such as Bing Crosby, Al Bowlly, and Fred Astaire.
The musicians master the sound of the American orchestras like Duke Ellington, whilst paying tribute to the British dance bands including Ray Noble.
The Apex, Bury St Edmunds, January 11, 7.30pm. Tickets £18.
