Bury folk rock band The Bounty Hounds are releasing their second studio album.
The band, made up of lead singer and instrumentalist John Bosley, fiddle player Jo Clegg, bass player Kevin Wickham, lead guitarist Chris Hart and drummer Shaun Finch, have been playing together for around six years. In that time the band have made their mark on the folk festival scene, playing a mixture of homegrown and traditional songs on stages all over the country.
And the band have yet another busy year coming up with gigs booked at the Rochester Sweeps festival, the Moira Furnace Folk Festival, and Wimbourne and Swanage folk festivals.
On April 6 the band are launching their second studio CD ‘Old Bury Road’ with a special concert at the Apex in Bury.
Singer John said: “People can expect lots of good foot-stamping folk music.
“We are really looking forward to playing at the Apex, it is an absolutely super venue.”
Tickets are £8 and available from the Apex box office.
