Steeleye Span, a legendary name in British music, will be performing at the Apex in Bury on December 8.

With a career spanning six decades and contemporaries such as Led Zepplin and Fairpoint Convention, the band in its many guises has changed the face of folk music forever, pushing boundaries to take it from small clubs and festivals to international venues.

The current line up of Maddy Prior, Rick Kemp, Liam Genockey, Julian Littman, Jessie May Smart and Andrew Sinclair has spent 2015 touring Europe, Canada and the US.
