This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Cambridge Film Festival, and its organisers have thought up a creative way to mark the occasion.

As part of the celebration it has launched its 35@35 campaign, aimed at securing funding for the festival for the next 35 years.

Friends of Cambridge Film Festival, as well as afilma nd art lovers from across the UK, are being asked to donate anything from £3.50 to £3,500 through Just Giving, with an array of rewards available to those who do so.

Operated by the charitable Cambridge Film Trust, the festival is one of the most prestigious and respected of its kind in the UK.

Having spent the past 35 years showcasing the best of British independent and international cinema, this year’s festival from September 3-13 is set to live up to the high standards.
