The first three events in a new summer series of family focused-fun at St Edmundsbury Cathedral take place next week, starting on Tuesday, July 26 with an interactive reptile experience from 10.30am to midday and 1pm to 4pm.
Discover snakes, lizards, scorpions, spiders and more while keepers from Snakes Alive tell you about the animals’ unique traits and abilities.
The drop-in event includes art and craft activity and a children’s nature themed trail and costs £5 for children (under-3s free) and £3 adults.
On Wednesday 27 there is a nature-themed Lego build workshop at 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, costing £8 per person. Book at the Cathedral office or call 01284 748720 to book in advance to avoid disappointment
Amazing reptiles and mini-beasts also takes place from 10.30am to midday and 1pm to 4pm on Thursday 28 (£5 per child, £3 adults).
Get to know some different creatures from around the world and understand their lives. Meet 3ft lizards, many different snakes, spiders, scorpions, snails, sticks insects,beetles and tortoises.
The day includes art and craft activities and a children’s nature themed trail.
