As festival fever grips town organisers ask what you think

Have your say

The Bury St Edmunds Festival kicked off yesterday with the Youth Prom in the Park and a performance by the Aurora Orchestra.

Over the weekend a diverse range of entertainment including themed walks, film screenings, and a wide variety of live music will be hosted in locations across the town.

This year’s festival has been condensed to provide a burst of culture over four days.

The programme has been carefully designed to allow visitors to attend as many of the more than 30 events as possible.

Organisers are asking for feedback on this new format.

Festival manager, Nick Wells said: “Bury St Edmunds Festival has evolved through a range of formats in its 28-year history.

“This year’s four-day festival is giving us a chance to think about what the festival should be in the future and we are keen to hear the views of everyone involved.”

Postcards will be available at festival events or you can voice your opinion by emailing
