Work by some of the UK’s most interesting fine-art photographers comes to The Apex Gallery through May .
The subjects in All the World’s a Stage include portraiture, satire, theatre and rural and urban landscapes.
The photographers’ techniques range from traditional darkroom image development to digitally enhanced photomontage.
They challenges the viewer to look again at things we take for granted. In fact, Graham Portlock’s Arc and Moon features a an object just yards from the venue.
Other images are Steve Stoddart’s dramatic skyscape A Sky Landing and Scarlet Monahan’s Eden Bitter Sweet, in which a woman bites into an apple with a razor blade in its flesh.
Penny Morgan, Dibs McCallum, Paul Cooklin and Ben Mathers also bring their photographic art to the Apex Gallery from May 1 to 28.
