Wood strikes twice, but Falcons exit cup

Gym United met Falcon Galacticos in the FA National Sunday Cup. Andrew Wood notched two for Gym in reply to Falcons tally of four. In the Suffolk County Sunday Trophy Abbotts travelled to play St Johns Conservative Club and lost 3-2 in extra time.

In the Norfolk FA Intermediate Cup Labas were entertained by Shoreham Youth, Labas scored twice without reply. Danepak won 7-5 after extra time against Bulldogs in the Norfolk FA Junior Cup. Also in the Junior Cup were FC Gulls who were beaten 5-2 at home to Drayton Youth.

In division one, Howards were awarded a home win over Cockfield. Bury Bowl hosted Tostock. The hosts took an early lead, but Tostock then scored six through Steve Fenner 4 and Pete Griffith 2 before Bowl scored the again. Jack Ellam and Ryan Mclees were the hosts’ scorers. In division two, Ixworth shared the point and the four goals at home to The Mace.
