White aiming to change the mentality at reprieved Town

Danny White is determined to ensure that his Thetford Town side make the most of their relegation reprieve.

Town finished second from bottom in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division, which initially meant that a stint in the First Division beckoned.

However, a re-jig of the leagues has spared White’s men and now the boss is looking to change the club’s mentality.

“We are a bit lucky because the league table does not lie,” he said.

“I have only been here since October, so now I need to stamp my authority and make sure things are run properly.

“Thetford is a club that is used to losing and that needs to change.

“It will only happen if we work hard.”

n Meanwhile, Mildenhall Town striker Chris Bacon was one of five runners-up in the Budweiser Dream Goal award.
