VIDEO: Rednall reacts to relinquishing her world crown

Katherine Rednall was left to concede that the better player won on the day after she relinquished her World Indoor Bowls Championship crown to Laura Thomas following a straight sets final defeat.

The 19-year-old Stowmarket-based ace, who became the youngest ever ladies winner of the competition last year, struggled throughout the tie with consistency and the feel of the carpet, and was punished as Thomas clinched a 14-15, 10-9 success to become the first Welsh woman to win the title.
