VIDEO: Lakenheath crowned Suffolk Senior Cup champions

Lakenheath manager Kevin Sobiechowski hailed his players after they clinched the Suffolk Senior Cup in emphatic style with a 7-0 win over Ipswich Valley Rangers at Bury Town’s Ram Meadow.

Heath narrowly missed out on winning the Kershaw Cambridgeshire League Premier Division title, finishing second, but put the disappointment behind them as Matt Haydon’s hat-trick was added to by Luke Catchpole, Adam Place, Josh Green and an own goal to seal the title.

And after a long campaign Sobiechowski heaped praise on his players for their endeavours and spoke of his delight for everyone connected with the club.
