VIDEO: Hogg hails his side despite opening day defeat

Bury St Edmunds director of rugby Gavin Hogg paid tribute to his side despite suffering a 41-22 opening day defeat to visiting Bishop’s Stortford.

In front a large and passionate Haberden crowd, Bury, plying for the first time at National League Division Two South level, gave a promising display against last season’s beaten playoff finalists, leading 22-21 at one stage before the visitors pedigree finally shone through in the later stages.
