VIDEO: Hogg hails Bury’s ‘memorable’ victory over league-leaders and rivals Cambridge

Bury St Edmunds RFC head-coach Gavin Hogg believes his side’s 43-38 toppling of league-leaders and rivals Cambridge will live long in the memory.

In their final home game of the current National League Two South campaign, Bury gave the thousand-plus crowd something to brag about as the hosts came out on top of a thrilling derby-day encounter against the champions-elect.

And after the crowd showed their appreciation to the players for their efforts throughout the season following the final whistle, Hogg paid tribute to his squad for a special victory.
