VIDEO: Bury Town boss on long-awaited home win

Bury Town manager Ben Chenery praised his side’s work ethic as being instrumental in deservedly sealing their first three-point haul at Ram Meadow since October 25.

The basement Blues managed to turn the table on its head with their 2-1 win over play-off chasing Metropolitan Police, thanks to second-half goals from full debutant Alfie Bedingham and David Lampshire,

Bury clawing back at point in the race to beat the drop, now 13 from safety with seven games — 21 points — remaining.

The west Suffolk side travel to Tonbridge Angels (17th) on Saturday, looking to complete a rare double after toppling them 2-1 in their previous victory at Ram Meadow back in October.
