VIDEO: Blues boss Chenery content with hard-fought goalless draw

Bury Town manager Ben Chenery was left content as his under-strength squad stretched their unbeaten run to four matches with a hard-fought goalless draw against Phoenix Sports on Saturday.

In blustery conditions at Ram Meadow both sides enjoy periods of prolonged possession with neither able to find that decisive breakthrough as both defences remaining on top throughout the 90 minutes.

However, with Bury nursing a long injury list at present, the boss was more than happy with his side’s endeavours and praised the fighting spirit on show in difficult circumstances.

The Blues are back in Ryman League Division One North action tonight (Monday) as they travel to Aveley (7.45pm).
