Bury St Edmunds Under-11s (274-4) produced an excellent display to defeat Weston Colville (197-10) this year’s Borders Cup final.

To promote participation in the Borders League, each team consists of 12 players who bat in pairs for three overs each.

The teams start with 200 runs and anything scored is added to that, while five runs are lost for each wicket that goes down, but the batsman remains in the middle until the end of his three overs.

Max Brais (21) and Archie Williams (13) top-scored for Bury in the cup final, while the wickets were shared between Hector Watch, Harry Parker, James Ireland and Brais.
