Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club have secured the services of a third Italian player for the 2017/18 season.

Earlier this month The Wolfpack announced that hooker Federico Silvestri and tight-head prop Daniele Greco had both agreed deals at The GK IPA Haberden.

And the pair have now been joined in Suffolk by fly-half Luca Merolle.

The 22-year-old, who hails from the Lazio region of Italy, has previously played for Amatori Parma and the Zebra Academy.

“Luca is another great signing for The Wolfpack with excellent rugby credentials and we are delighted to welcome him to Bury,” said head coach Jon Clarke.
