Thetford Dolphins travelled to Wisbech for the Senior Fenland League A final, where an outstanding display saw them finish in second place behind a strong West Norfolk.

Three new club records were set by Kacie Cooper, finishing first place in the 50m breast for the girls’ nine years club record, which had stood since December, 2001.

Alice Fasey, swimming in the 100m IM girls’ 12 years, broke a club record which had stood since 1987, and Amie Copp for the 17 years and over 100m breast, set a record which had stood since 1994, and was previously held by Chrissie Wellington, who went on to become a four-time Ironman Triathlon world champion.

A further two first places were achieved Leon Galler (50m free) and Fasey (50m breast), while personal bests went to Georgina Dickenson, Alfie King, Katharine Mold, Daniel Clark, Masie Francis and Alex Darton.
