The buzzers are getting bigger at Larkwood

There have been plenty of natural food items starting to show at Larkwood, with the buzzers getting bigger and more prolific every day.

Visiting angler Brian Goodchild had six rainbows to 3lbs on his first visit to the fishery in a two hour session using size 16 black buzzer with a silver bead head and used a very slow retrieve just under the surface.

The beginners course went well with the participants catching fish and getting a soaking in the showery weather. Both lakes are very clear so a fine tippet is recommended for best results.

Watercraft courses will be starting soon, anyone interested should contact Ian to book on 07776 370348.
