Suffolk County Cricket Club are trying to find ways of encouraging more players to make themselves available to play senior county cricket for the over 50s, 60s and 70s teams.

The county is looking for present day players, players who have been perhaps sidelined for youngsters but would still like to play cricket, or those who have retired to brush the dust off their pads and come and play some midweek games with others of their own age group.

Suffolk currently run two over-50 teams, two over-60s and one over-70s sides. Matches are 45 overs a side games and played at very good cricket clubs with excellent facilities. Indoor nets are being held on the following dates: Sunday at Bury St Edmunds CC (10 to 12); Sunday, April 17 at Ipswich School (10-12); Sunday, April 24 at Bury St Edmunds CC 10-12.
