The British Taekwondo Council Championships were held at the Worcester Arena recently with 10 fighting areas run throughout the day with 500 competitors and 100 officials.

The competition is organised by the British Taekwondo Council who are the umbrella organisation for most of the main taekwondo associations in the country.

Fourteen students from the Mark Farnham Schools of Taekwondo attended the tournament, with pattern, sparring, destruction and team sparring events during the day.

A well achieved total of 10 medals were won with Callum Palmer taking first in the boys’ red belt sparring, red belt team sparring and red belt patterns.

The Mark Farnham Schools are preparing for their next event which will be the Welsh Championships, to be held in Cardiff later this month.
