Strong field battle challenging course

A strong field of riders competed in the challenging 21 mile time trial hosted by the West Suffolk Wheelers and Triathlon Club.

In a testing early season outing across the exposed circuit through Risby, Flempton and Lackford, David McGraw was first home in a strong time of 46 minutes and 36 seconds followed by Bury St Edmunds-based VeloVelocity duo Scott Davidson (49:23) and Andy Leggett (49:40).

Host club Wheelers had a good turnout, with Paul Rooke first Wheeler home in a determined 52:16 followed by Paul Vickers (53:07) and Darren Davis (54:06).
