Stowmarket secure triple promotion

Stowmarket Ladies Netball Cub celebrated another successful campaign at their end-of-season awards night.

Three out of the club’s six teams achieved promotion in the Ipswich South Suffolk League.

The club thanks Finborough School for use of their courts, Scarlett Brown Leisure for the trophies and Sweet and Savoury, at Stonham Barns, for hosting the club’s AGM and awards night.

Stowmarket Ladies Netball Club is open to all abilities, including junior players between the ages of 12 and 14.

Award winners were as follows.

Players’ player: Chloe Frankland and Jo Raikes (Eagles), Julie Grayling (Kestrels), Chloe Brinkley (Hawks), Madi Wright and Dani Osborn (Doves), Ellie Davis (Robins), Daisy Knock (Wrens).

Coaches players: Kimberley Row (Kestrels), Sam Knott (Hawks), Dani Osborn (Doves), Emily Bird (Robins), Alisha Williams (Wrens).

Katy Barnard was named as most improved player, Sam Knott young player, Hazel Paige was clubperson of the year, while Donna Cooper picked up the chairs award.
