Stowmarket’s Lewis Cracknell is aiming to win one of the tour cards up for grabs at this week’s Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) Qualifying School.

The teenager is among 400 players to have entered Q-School, and began his campaign with a 5-2 defeat to Jason Marriott in the first round on Wednesday.

The four-day event continued at Wigan’s Robin Park Tennis Centre yesterday, with further tournaments being held today and tomorrow.

Tour cards will be handed out to the final four players left standing from each tournament.

The remaining players are awarded ranking points based on where they finished on each day, which will go towards a final Q-School Order of Merit.
