Spectrums battle for national competition

Members from the Bury Spectrum Gymnastics Club travelled to Salto Gym in Luton to compete for a place in the tumbling national semi-finals.

Competing at national level three, Phoebe Maddever finished second narrowly behind Courtney Davey, while at national level four, Jessica Marshall clinched a second-place finish, Jessica Williams finished third and Eleanor Heath second.

Lucy Robinson finished first and Kati Nasson third at national level five, while at national level six, Milly Richards took top spot with Danielle Tabios in second.

Richards, Tabios and Robinson also travelled to Loughborough University to compete in the English Espoir Championships.

Competing against the best girls in the country, all three came away with some apparatus scores in the top 20 out of a field of 60 and gained valuable experience at this high level competition.
