Reardon’s super six helps fire Brandon to nine-goal triumph

Georgia Reardon scored six goals as Brandon Town Lasses Under-15s comfortably saw off Kesgrave Kestrels in our match of the week.

The Lasses dominated possession and created more than 20 chances on goal, with Emily Grant, Ruby Robertson and debutant Chloe Webb adding to Reardon’s superb six.

Brandon Town Lasses Under-16s earned a superb 3-1 triumph over Waveney.

Katie Amacker’s quick goal-kick was misjudged by the Waveney defence and Georgia Dargan reacted to go through on goal and finish.

Within five minutes, Brandon had doubled their lead with a fantastic individual goal by Ellesse Masters and Dargan completed Brandon’s scoring after the interval before Waveney netted a late consolation. Ciona Giles was named the player of the match.

The Lasses recorded the same result when overcoming previously-unbeaten Bohemians 3-1 last week, with Leah Zawiasa named player of the match. Masters scored twice and Dargan the other.

Thetford Bulldog Belles Under-14s maintained their winning run with a 2-0 triumph over Gorleston Rangers thanks to goals from Jordy Hunter and Melissa Boulton.

An outstanding performance by player-of-the-match Jess Horn and another clean sheet for goalkeper Fraya Williams wrapped up a fabulous team performance.

Lakenheath Under-13s put Rickinghall Gunners to the sword in the second half of their match.

Kane Manels and Jake Alecock put them 2-0 ahead by the break and a further four goals from Manels followed after half-time, along with strikes from man-of-the-match Matthew Hinchley, Joseph Martin and Tyler Garrett (two) to make the final result 10-0.

Brandon Town Under-7s and Thetford Bulldogs played out an evenly-contested encounter in wintry conditions, with Finn Corke named Brandon’s man of the match.

n Bury Town duo Ethan Woodley and Andrew Henrique, as well as Stowmarket Town Under-16s’ Adam Darbous, were involved for Suffolk Under-16s in their 1-0 loss to Essex in the East Anglian Counties Championship on Sunday.
