Reade rejects Tigers to stay with Potters

BEN Reade will not be joining the Mildenhall Fen Tigers after agreeing a deal with his current club, the Stoke Potters.

The 20-year-old Wiltshire-born rider had already verbally told the Potters he would be signing for them before the Tigers’ late bid last week.

Mildenhall co-promoter Michael Lee said: “Ben is going to stay there, which is fair enough because he was at Stoke already and had verbally agreed a deal with them.”

Stoke, who missed out on silverware completely in 2011, have already strengthened their line-up with the disbanded Scunthorpe Saints’ National League title-winning pair of Ashley Birks and Richie Worrall.
