Talented angler Peter Williams continued his promising progression in the sport on the Angling Trust Pathway Scheme last month.
In the second instalment of the scheme at Cudmore Fisheries in Shropshire, Mildenhall-based Williams showcased his undoubted potential, ending up as one of the top scoring competitors.
He followed that up with another impressive display at the final stage of phase two of the pathway at Townsend Lakes in Norfolk, securing his progression through to phrase three of the Pathway.
“Peter is clearly an excellent angler, and the coaches very easily came to the decision to take you through to the next stage,” said James Roche, regional development officer for the Angling Trust.
Phase three of the scheme is scheduled to start on Saturday, April 6, at Packington Somers Fishery in Warwickshire, where Williams will be fishing as part of the Midlands region team in a competition against the north and south regions.
