West Suffolk Athletics Club members have been in action across the United Kingdom and abroad wihtin the last week.

Holly Archer helped Southern Methodist University, Dallas, qualify for the United States national university cross-country finals in Indiana next weekend.

In Cardiff, Maureen McCarthy was on England duty at the Welsh Masters International Cross Country.

Running in the reserves race, McCarthy (V50) was a superb third overall, beaten only by two V40s.

At the Brighton 10K road race, Justine Anthony clocked 37.58 for 10th woman and first 
under-20, while Christine Anthony (45.03, 11th V45) and Seb Anthony (38.00, fourth under-20) followed her home.

Neil Anthony tripped on a kerb at 4k and had to retire.
