Twenty-six Mildenhall Sharks brought home 32 medals from this year’s Suffolk County ASA Development Championships — 11 golds, seven silvers and 14 bronzes — as well as achieving 79 personal bests (pbs) out of 102 swims.
Leading the team’s medal hall was Megan Cowlan-Neal, who took home three golds, one silver and one bronze, followed closely Jay Carter with two golds, one silver and one bronze.
Other medal winners were: Alex Baker (one bronze); Anna Armstrong (one gold, three bronze); Ben Wicks (one gold, two silvers); Emma Ruddy (one bronze); Evie Luker (one gold); Ffion Lewis-Dimmock (two gold, one silver); Harriet Almond (one gold, one bronze); Kane Buckles (one silver, one bronze); Maria Buckles (one silver, two bronze); Max Airey (one bronze); Sam Buckles (two bronze).
n A young Sharks team represented the club in the third round of the Junior Fenland League at King’s Lynn.
They finished with 91 points and achieving 16 personal bests.
