Fishing at Larkwood has been excellent this week with anglers having great sport on damsels, blobs and montanas.
Junior angler Seb Rhodes had a cracking bag of fish with his best being a 5.5lb rainbow trout in tip-top condition.
West Stow Lake is fishing best at the moment where the fish have been taken from one end of the lake to the other and at lots of different depths.
Both West Stow and Glebe lakes are very clear and will respond best to floating line and fine leaders.
There have been good hatches of small buzzers this week.
This will increase as the weather improves as spring nears.
n The fishing is still good at Blackdyke.
With the changing weather, it’s best to use lures on the cold days, while buzzers are working well when the sun shines.
