Girls win big at tumble meet

Gymnasts from Spectrum Gymnastics came away from a competition with a total of 12 medals between them.

The event, held at Lynnsport Gymnastics Centre in King’s Lynn, was centred around the tumbling variant of gymnastics which involves combining various elements to create a 25-metre tumble run, completing somersaults and twists.

Maria Whiting and Danielle Tabios came first and second respectively in the national level five category.

At national level four for 12 years plus, Jess Williams came second. Lucy Robinson was second in the 10-11 category.

Phoebe Maddever and Kati Masson took first and second place at national level three and Courtney Davey took third at national level two.

Ella Garrad was first in the club level three category and Millie and Aimee Cass finished first and second respectively at club level two.

Isla Gillespy claimed gold at club level one.
