In a unique Dartathon challenge, Suffolk Summer Sixes League member Colin Freeman threw the exceptionally high score of 100,001 in the remarkable time of four hours and 42 minutes to help raise money for CLIC Sargent.

The challenge — which was held at the Greyhound pub in Ixworth, the pub team to which Freeman belongs — was part of the league’s continued fundraising support of the charity which to date has helped raise £44,000.

Freeman said: “I completed the 100,001 down in 4,018 darts — I just hope I can play as well as this in the Summer Sixes tournament.”
