St Edmundsbury Sailing and Canoeing Association (SESCA) celebrated Antigua Sailing Week with their annual Antigua Sailing Day Regatta on Sunday.
The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority-sponsored event hosted three races at Lackford Lake, near Bury St Edmunds, with 16 laser dinghies competing.
New club member Alison Stevens won the first race with line honours in a closely-fought battle with Mike Steele.
The second race was dominated by Steele, who passed the first mark in front and remained ahead four laps later.
Alan Wright and Mike Senior finished the first lap of the final race in first and second, before Steele and Stevens battled back to take the top two line honours, which were reversed on rig-corrected time.
The club hosted its first-ever youth sailing session after the racing, with more than 20 youngsters using a mix of lasers, toppers and wanderers in a fun-filled afternoon.
SESCA will host their RYA ‘Push The Boat Out’ open weekend on May 17-18, further details can be found at www.westsuffolksailing.org.uk
