Bury St Edmunds’ Brian Alldis capped off a successful season with another promising display in the European Handcycling Circuit campaign finale in Castelldefels, Barcelona.

The 27-year-old, who has risen into the top-10 of the world rankings this year, following a fine season, once again showcased his potential to claim a 10th place finish in the time trial event, before going on to clinch sixth in the following road race event, narrowly missing out on a top-five placing in the final sprint.

It brought to an end a particularly strong season for Alldis, who will now turn his attention to challenging for a place at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro with qualification points up for grabs as of next year.
