Mildenhall Fen Tigers announce 2016 fixture list

The Mildenhall Fen Tigers have announced their fixture list for the 2016 speedway season.

Mildenhall will host a National League Select side on Sunday, March 27 before opening their league campaign at Rye House 24 hours later.

Home fixtures against Kent (April 10) and Isle of Wight (April 17) in the National Trophy will follow before home and away meetings against Eastbourne in the Knockout Cup (April 23 and 24 respectively).

The Fen Tigers’ first home meeting in the National League is on Sunday, May 15, with a mouthwatering clash against Birmingham.

Local derbies against King’s Lynn will take place in September, with the away meeting scheduled for Wednesday 7 and the home clash taking place on Sunday 18.

Fixtures are subject to change and September 25 is the cut-off date for National League meetings.

March: Sunday 27 NL Select (home), Monday 28 Rye House (away NL).

April: Sunday 3 Fen Fours (home), Sunday 10 Kent (home NT), Sunday 17 Isle of Wight (home NT), Saturday 23 Eastbourne (away KOC), Sunday 24 Eastbourne (home KOC).

May: Monday 9 Kent (away NT), Sunday 15 Birmingham (home NL), Thursday 19 Isle of Wight (away NT), Sunday 22 Reserved, Sunday 29 Coventry (home NL), Monday 30 Kent (away NL).

June: June 5 Buxton (home NL), Tuesday 14 Isle of Wight (away NL), Sunday 19 Cradley (home NL), Wednesday 29 Birmingham (away NL).

July: Sunday 3 Reserved, Monday 11 Cradley (away NL), Sunday 17 Isle of Wight (home NL), Sunday 24 Buxton (away NL), Sunday 31 Eastbourne (away NL).

August: Sunday 7 Kent (home NL), Sunday 14 4TT NL finals at Coventry, Saturday 20 Stoke (away NL), Sunday 21 Rye House (home NL), Friday 26 Coventry (away NL), Saturday 27 Best Pairs at King’s Lynn, Sunday 28 Belle Vue (home NL).

September: Sunday 4 Eastbourne (home NL), Wednesday 7 King’s Lynn (away NL), Sunday 18 King’s Lynn (home NL), Friday 23 Belle Vue (away NL), Sunday 25 Stoke (home NL).
