Maiden event at Stonham

The first Suffolk Open FootGolf Championship will be held tomorrow at Stonham Barns FootGolf course.

Players, will tee off on a shotgun start at 2pm, will play 18 holes medal with the winner receiving the Scarlett Brown Trophy.

Pele Heydon, who has won the last two ranking tournaments and broken the course record with a 46 (12 under par) in the May event, will be looking to continue his winning streak.

Footgolf has really taken off now in the UK and now there are more than 120 footgolf courses with many more opening soon.

There are still few places available and entry is open to men, ladies and juniors. Entry is £12, which includes a goody bag, and footballs are provided.
