Hissett among the goals as Stanton win

In Division One, Stanton’s visitors were Bury Town Rams A, with the hosts winning 4-1 thanks to a Steve Hissett brace and a goal each for Kayne Weekes and Chris Marlow. Jordan Marlow netted for the Rams, writes Bill Tinkler.

Weeting travelled to Thurston. The teams shared six goals after a 3-3 draw. Chris Smith, Ryan Nutter and an own goal accounted for the Weeting goals. Thurston goalscorers were Billy Murkin, Marc Longhurst and Jordan Francis.

The Trunk’s visitors were table-toppers St Edmunds 1965, St Eds won 3-1 with goals from Kevin Zdrenka, Rob Chappell and Simon Gresham. Drew Sanders scored for the Trunk.

Top Division Two side Bury Town Rams B entertained Bury Wanderers in a close game. Nathan Head broke the deadlock in the second half, scoring for the Rams to win 1-0.

Beck Row made the trip to Elmswell Reserves, Beck winning comfortably 5-1 with goals from Ben Shepperson (2), Luke Turner (2) and John Adam.

With Embers FC still under County suspension, RF Saints were awarded a home win.

The joint second-placed sides in the division locked horns as Walsham B entertained AFC Black Boy. It was status quo after a 1-1 draw. Macaulay Delo was again on target Boy and likewise Tobias Jameson for the Bs.
